My love for cooking began at an early age when I started my own
bread baking business in junior high. I called it Basic Knead, and
provided fresh, whole wheat bread for my clients on a weekly
basis.  My passion for food continued as I grew older. However,
instead of pursuing that dream, I chose to   follow my other
passion in life, teaching. I attended college at Texas A&M
University, where I received a Bachelor’s degree in Education.  I
was a middle school teacher for 10 years, before finally returning
to the food industry.  I received my training from the
Culinary
Business Academy, as well as, the Viking Cooking School. I
have also taken classes through the
El Centro culinary school. I
am a Premier Member of the
United States Personal Chef
Association, and also an active member of the DFW Chapter of
the USPCA.

I live in Richardson, Texas with my husband, Todd and our
Papillion, Herculez, and our beautiful new daughter, Samantha.
